Skip Protocol and Osmosis announces Protocol-owned Builders
Proposal #187 v9-Lambda Upgrade Voting ends on 2023-03-08.
We have a major upgrade proposal that's currently underway within the Cosmos Hub. The proposal, #187 v9-Lambda, is a significant upgrade that will enhance the security of the Cosmos Hub by introducing a new feature called Replicated Security. This will enable the Cosmos Hub to provide its strong security to other blockchains called 'consumer chains'.
The voting for this proposal is ongoing and will end on 2023-03-08. We encourage all Cosmonauts to participate in the governance process and cast their votes for this proposal. Moreover, as with every major upgrade, there's a chance that an airdrop snapshot will be made for everyone who voted, making it even more important for you to participate.
Skip Protocol and Osmosis announces Protocol-owned Builders
Skip Protocol and Osmosis have announced the launch of Protocol-owned Builders. This solution builds on the learnings from the Skip x Osmosis ProtoRev collaboration, which performs a small portion of block construction, inserting cyclic arbitrage transactions to rebalance LP pools. With POB, Cosmos can avoid the centralizing effects of PBS, avoid censorship from PBS, fully and provably govern MEV capture and distribution, build everything out in the open, and start to coordinate with cross-chain MEV across CEXes and other chains (soon).
Price Update (March 4, 17:30 UTC)
ATOM: $11.94
JUNO: $1.12
EVMOS: $0.354
OSMO: $0.851
We're thrilled to see these developments taking place within the Cosmos Network and look forward to the impact they will have on the network's growth and development.
